From time to time the club has employment opportunities in a range of departments:

We offer full-time and permanent part-time positions depending on the role.

Do you have what we are looking for?
The focus for all staff is excellence in customer service so we seek applications from outgoing people with a high level of inter-personal skills who can exceed our customers’ expectations. We expect a high standard of personal presentation and an understanding that the hospitality industry requires regular shift work including weekends and public holidays.

Things You Should Know Before You Submit an Application
There are a number of things you should know about working at Tuncurry Bowling Club. Please go ahead with your enquiry if you understand and accept the following conditions:

You must have your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Certificates – approved by Liquor Administration Board. All prospective employees should be available for any shift over the week including Fridays and Saturdays as this is a condition of employment. Employees will be expected to work a variety of hours and a roster will typically include days, nights, weekends and public holidays. Shifts range from 3-10 hours and may finish as late as 3am (not including occasional extended trading for special events). Currently the club trades every day except Christmas Day. Unauthorised absenteeism will not be tolerated. Should you be offered a position there is an automatic probationary period during which time you will be assessed by Supervisors and Managers. This is also a time for you to make sure you wish to continue.

How to Apply
Before you proceed please be aware that you must have obtained your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Certificates. If you meet with our general conditions you may send in your resume by mail, fax or email to Brett Gay, Club Manager, with a covering letter outlining what area of employment you are interested in and whether you require full-time or part-time work. Alternatively, you can come to the club and fill in an application form.
